How did the use of laser for removing hair start?
In 1976, Professor Marc Clement conducted a scientific experiment on the use and effect of ruby laser light on hair growth. The objective was to destroy the hair follicle without damage to the surrounding skin tissue. Initial results were impressive and Professor Clement and his team decided to research the theory further by modifying the use of laser energy to prevent re-growth of hair in order to assist plastic surgeons.
